JANUARY GIVEAWAY

Win almost £1000 of interactive teaching resources and equipment!

In January, Create The Future and Our Classroom Climate teamed up up to offer one lucky primary school in England or Wales an outstanding interactive science learning experience programme with a whopping value of £995.

The lucky winning school will receive a complete Our Classroom Climate kit, which includes:

  • 1 x Interactive, pupil-friendly climate monitor
  • 2 x Algal bioreactor starter kits (AKA “pet algae” by pupils, and “liquid trees” by the press). This amazing kit uses algae to clean the air around the pupils in the class. When used correctly, this gives the same benefit of having a 10-year-old oak tree in the classroom!
  • Science box – including centrifuge, scales, protective glasses, infra-red torch, and much more!
  • Digital learning programme mapped to the curriculum – flexible learning units, interactive activities, animations and knowledge checks (4 modules, with 24 lessons comprising 11 core experiments, and almost 100 activity ideas)
  • Teacher Guide to help you make the most of your new kit with your class!

This package has already been used by many schools and forms part of a partnership between Our Classroom Climate and Cardiff Council, which has become the first local authority in the UK to offer algae bioreactors to all its schools.

See how Y4 and Y5 pupils at Ysgol Pen Rhos have benefitted from the Our Classroom Climate programme here in this short video.

All of the equipment and materials will be delivered in time for British Science Week in March 2024, providing your school with a ready-made week of activities to explore climate science together.
